This site preserves family-history material originally published across three Homestead websites.
How authenticity is recorded
Every captured object has a source URL, capture timestamp, media type, byte count, and SHA-256 checksum in the preservation manifest.
What was not restored
Obsolete trackers, guestbooks, email forms, weather widgets, and remote scripts are excluded from the modern site. Historical wording and source media remain unchanged.
Corrections and attribution
Historical text is transcribed verbatim. Corrections should be recorded as editorial notes without replacing the original wording.
